St. Anthony Falls

The St. Anthony Falls in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The sun was breaking through the clouds as it was starting to go done. It was a windy evening and the water was splashy around. With all of that a small rainbow was created in front of the bridge.

Downtown Minneapolis

I was walking across downtown Minneapolis with the Mississippi River in the foreground. The sky was dark enough so that the building lights were on. There were a few clouds but enough clear sky so that the buildings reflected on the water.

Downtown St. Paul at Night

I went to Indian Mounts Park with a class learning to take nighttime photography. We were facing west and it was dark enough for all the street and building lights to be on.

Smith Avenue Bridge, St. Paul, MN Sunset

A group of photographers met at Harriet Island in St. Paul. We walked around the river taking pictures of the buildings with their lights on, the sunset and reflections on the water.

A chilly November evening along the Mississippi River. I was at Harriet Island with other photographers and saw the beautiful evening sky. The condensation from plant created a eerie look. The reflection of the bridge and the lights from the building is spectular.

Downtown St. Paul, Minnesota

Downtown St. Paul at night with the Mississippi River in the foreground. This picture was taken from Harriet Island on a chilly November evening. I decided to turn this picture to black and white to see how it would look and I love it. The lights pop at you, the reflection in the water is dreary looking. The condensation from the buildings blowing in the sky is neat. I can kind of see the stars.

Minneapolis, MN at Sunset

My husband and I went to Franklin Avenue bridge to look at the sunset and downtown Minneapolis skyline. The sky reflected on the water.

St. Paul Skyline

Another picture but farther away from St. Paul coming back to the dock. The bridge made for a cool frame. The clouds in the background add depth.

We were on a paddleford boat on the Mississippi River. As we were coming back to the dock I looked out the front and saw the skyline as we were coming close to the bridge. I though the bridge made for a neat frame.

St. Anthony Falls

My plan was to go to Minneapolis to see the Moon rise above the buildings. No luck. The Moon was almost the opposite direct I was looking. I decided to try to get some pictures of the buildings or the water.

I was hoping to see the moon rise above the buildings but I was looking the wrong direction. I still some beautiful reflections in the water of the buildings near downtown Minneapolis. This is of the old Pillsbury building.

Twilight hour at St. Anthony Falls after they started letting the water flowing after inspection. You can see the levels are not as high . Always a stunning picture.

Moon rising over Minneapolis Skyline

A beautiful Autumn evening at Boom Island Park. The skies were clear and just a touch of wind. I met a few other women photographers to take pictures and talk about our photography journey.

Downtown Stillwater On New Year's Evening

I walked across the old Stillwater crossing bridge. Turned around and saw the lights on the buildings in Stillwater. I snapped a few photos and this one was my favorite.
