Snow Covered Windy Road

The sun started shining through the clouds and the trees. It created a rainbow halo. The snow sparkled with the sunshine.

Minnehaha Falls

Winter time in Minnesota at Minnehaha Falls. The water is frozen and has a touch of blue to it. Though cold looking it is also beautiful.

Whitefish Dunes State Park, Door County, Wisconsin

My husband and I drove to Door County to visit his brother. We spent half a day driving along the coast of Lake Michigan and found Whitefish Dunes State Park. There is a path that is along the coast of the lake. It was a bit windy that day so the water was splashing on the rocks.

Manitou Island Bridge

This bridge crosses White Bear Lake and leads to Manitou Island. I walked down along the side to see what it looked like. I saw the reflection and took the picture.

White Covered Trail

Poplar trees let go of their pollen inside of white cottony type material. It was Summer but look a little like winter.

Lake Superior, Duluth, Minnesota

My husband and I went to Duluth for the Air Show. The first day there we went for a walk along Lake Superior.

George Watch Lake, Centerville, Minnesota

I had been trying to get a decent looking sunset picture and finally got one one evening. The sun and clouds were reflecting on the creek below the bridge in Centerville, Minnesota. Off in the distance is George Watch Lake.

Covered Bridge

I went to Interstate Park in Taylor Falls, Minnesota with a fellow photographer. We were walking on the path and saw this covered bridge. I loved the look and decided that I wanted to capture that memory.

Summertime on the Lake

This is a very small park in a neighborhood that is on the shore of Centerville Lake in Centerville. There is this small opening through the trees to see the lake. The Sun was just starting to go down in the sky.

I wanted to be able to get a sunset picture over the lake without the glaring sun. I went to a small park that my husband told me about. The trees created the perfect frame for the sun.

Bright Star in the Winter

After going for a walk at a nearby park, I stopped off at a equine boarding facility that I once had my horse. I walked into the pasture to look closer at the Sun. It called to my to take a picture. When I look at this picture I think of Christmas.

Winter Time

I went for a walk behind the elementary school near my house. It was beautiful but the roads were slippery. I was drawn to this lonely tree all covered with snow and no leaves. Magical.

Sucker Lake in Vadnais Height in the very early Spring. The trees still have no leaves on them. The blue water is amazing and the reflection is wonderful

Matoska Park

This is one of my favorite spots to take pictures of. Each season this spot has a different feeling. This one was in the Spring. Matoska Park by White Bear Lake in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Birch Trees in the Winter

I went for a walk through Carlos Avery Wildlife to get some fresh air. I was surprised at the number of Birch trees at this place. It was cloudy but it was still bright. Beautiful.

Double Vision

I was mesmerized by the reflection of the birch trees in the water. It was almost like glass. I knew I had to get picture of this image.

Sunlit waterfountain

I got to the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum on a Summer evening. I walked up to this water fountain and saw the Sun peaking through the trees. When I got home and uploaded the pictures onto my computer I saw the Sun shining on the water, creating shadows on the patio and on the plants. I was very excited.

Frontenac State Park

This Summer I went to about 5 state parks taking pictures and enjoying the scenery. On this day I went with my friend to Frontenac State Park and two others. I love being able to see the river for miles. The rocky hills and trees in the distance are awesome.

As we walked along the path, we went to the other side and could see the state of Wisconsin. The clouds looked so fluffy.

Birch Lake

Beautiful reflection of the clouds, blue sky and trees on the water. The water was still and able to capture the reflection perfectly.
