Hennepin Avenue Bridge over the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. This picture was taken in March.
Old Abandoned Building
This once was a farm in Lino Lakes. Most of the land had been sold to the school district except for a small portion where the owner live. We believe the owner passed away and his children sold it. I wonder what this building was used for.
Decomposing Leaf
I saw a decomposed leaf on the sidewalk. I thought this could be a interesting picture. My daughter and I thought it be cool to put in on the trunk of her vehicle, I love how the reflection on the car. I did change the color of her vehicle.
Blue Jay Feather
I found a Blue Jay Feather in the yard. It looked beautiful so I thought it would make a great picture. I placed it on the rock.
Horseshoe Nails
I went to a Farrier competition to hold the lead rope of one horse for a farrier. Before that part of the competition started there was another one happening. I went around taking pictures. It was a fun and interesting day.
Farrier Competition
Here are a few more tools that the farriers used the in competition that I helped at.
When each farrier had completed their assignment for the competition, they would lay their towels on this little foldable tables. I went around taking pictures of it. I love the detail and the story about each farrier.
Boom Island Lighthouse
I took the day off from work, too many shoppers and too few orders. I met a few other women photographers at Boom Island Park. We walked around taking pictures and gave helpful suggestions
Nicollet Boom Island Bridge
A older bridge lit up with lights and the setting sun. The orangish tint is mezmersing. The branches with no leaves adds to the depth of this picture.
Minnesota Glow Light
Another display at the Minnesota State Fair Glow Light Holiday Light Display drive thru. Great way to support the state fair.
Glow Light Display at Minnesota State Fair Grounds
We went to the Glow Light Display at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds on Christmas Day. The state fair grounds hosted this because of the social distance of the virus. It helped bring in revenue for them and allowed the public to enjoy something.
Minnesota Glow Light Display
This was another favorite display at the Minnesota State Fair Glow Light Holiday display. I love all of the trees and the little house. I wish I could have been walking so that I had time to center my camera.
Stillwater, Minnesota Crossing Bridge
Went to downtown Stillwater to look at the Christmas decorations that were still lit. Saw the new crossing bridge with the lights on. I love the blue glow on the snow.
Yaquina Head Lighthouse
We ventured to Newport, Oregon on the second day. Walked the path to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. It is still active but closed for tours due to the virus. It was first lit in 1873. It looks out over the Pacific Ocean.
