I went to Springbrook Nature Center in the Autumn. There is a big pond with a walkway through it. I saw this female mallard duck standing on this little island of weeds. Perfect.

Lonely Canadian Goose
My husband and I went to Matoska Park in White Bear Lake, Minnesota in early Spring. He brought his drone and I brought my camera. This goose was by itself floating on White Bear Lake. I love the reflection of it on the water.

As I was walking back to my truck crossing over the river, I spotted this Great Blue Heron perched on the dead branch. He had just eaten his lunch. He was difficult to see because he blended in with the rocks. A beautiful bird

It was a very slow day for work. I decided to take advantage and go for walk with the beautiful weather. I went to Tamarack Nature Center in White Bear Township. A couple told me that the tall trees with yellow needles was called Tamarack. They were goregous.
